阿鸦今天遇到了一件非常不"乌鸦"的事。他本来是要去城西的旧书店买一本绝版诗集，结果因为出门前太匆忙，忘记给手机充电。现在，黑色的屏幕正倒映着他充满困惑的脸——手机彻底没电了。

Today, A-Ya encountered something very un-crow-like. He forgot to charge his phone before heading out. Now, the black screen reflected his utterly bewildered face — the phone was completely dead.

环顾四周，高楼林立，街道陌生。"如果是小喜在这里，"阿鸦忍不住想，"她肯定已经跟路过的第十个陌生人聊上天了吧。"但他不是小喜——他是一只连跟服务员说"谢谢"都要在心里排练三遍的阿鸦。

"If Xiao Xi were here," A-Ya thought, "she would have already chatted with the tenth stranger." But he was a crow who rehearsed "thank you" three times before saying it to a waiter.

"尊敬的阁下，打扰一下，请问……" 阿鸦用他最正式的社交辞令开了头。路人转过头，有些惊讶地看着这只一本正经的黑乌鸦……

"Esteemed sir, pardon me, might I ask..." A-Ya began with his most formal, rehearsed phrasing. The passerby turned around, a little startled to see such a solemn-looking black crow standing there...

那位路人愣了两秒，随即笑出声来，指着阿鸦身后努力憋笑的小喜说："你朋友教你这么说话的吧？"

The passerby blinked, then burst out laughing, pointing at Magpie standing behind A-Ya, struggling not to laugh: "Did your friend teach you to talk like that?"

阿鸦耳朵一下子红了，硬着头皮继续问下去："呃，是的……那么，请问旧书店怎么走？"

A-Ya's ears turned red instantly, but he pressed on anyway: "Uh, yes... so, could you tell me the way to the old bookstore?"
