那天小喜在海边玩，浪打湿了她的羽毛。她气鼓鼓地说："要是我有法宝就好了！"阿鸦歪了歪头，"你想要哪种？"

That day at the beach, a wave soaked Magpie's feathers. She huffed: "I wish I had a magic weapon!" A-Ya tilted his head. "What kind would you want?"

"说到法宝，"阿鸦说，"有一个孩子，他出生时就带着两件——乾坤圈和混天绫。七岁那年，他一个人大闹东海……"小喜眼睛瞪大了。

"Speaking of magic weapons," A-Ya said, "there was a child born with two of them — the Universe Ring and the Red Armillary Sash. At age seven, he single-handedly stormed the East Sea…" Magpie's eyes went wide.

"小喜，"阿鸦压低声音，"哪吒在海边玩的那天，其实有一只乌鸦在礁石上看着……"小喜瞪大眼睛，"是你吗？！"

"Magpie," A-Ya lowered his voice, "the day Nezha was playing by the sea, there was actually a crow watching from the rocks..." Magpie's eyes went wide. "Was that you?!"

阿鸦故作神秘地眨了眨眼："是不是我，你确定要现在知道吗？"

A-Ya blinked mysteriously. "Whether it was me or not — are you sure you want to know right now?"

小喜急得直跺脚："当然要知道！你倒是快说啊！"

Magpie stamped her feet impatiently. "Of course I want to know! Just tell me already!"

哪吒抽了敖丙的龙筋，还打伤了来增援的夜叉。龙王颜面尽失，跑去天庭告状，扬言要水淹陈塘关。哪吒的父亲李靖夹在中间，左右为难。

Nezha had ripped out Ao Bing's dragon tendon and injured the yaksha who came as backup. The Dragon King, humiliated, went to the Heavenly Court to file a complaint and threatened to flood Chentang Pass. Nezha's father Li Jing was caught in the middle.

哪吒没有认错。他说：我的肉身是父母给的，我还给他们；我自己的事，自己承担。说完，他割肉还母，剔骨还父，以死谢罪——但也以此获得了自由。

Nezha didn't apologize. He said: this flesh was given by my parents — I return it to them. My actions are mine to answer for. He then cut his own flesh and returned his bones to his father, dying to take responsibility — and in doing so, claimed his freedom.

Thor slew the sea serpent Jörmungandr, but was struck by its venom and fell after nine steps. Odin was swallowed by Fenrir. But — after the battle, the world was reborn, new gods rose, and humanity survived.

"A-Ya," Magpie said, wiping her eyes, "Nezha returned everything and was reborn... did he never need anyone's permission?" A-Ya gazed at the waves. "No. He only ever needed his own heart."
