Thor's weapon is Mjölnir, his thunder hammer — a short-handled war hammer that never misses its target and always flies back to his hand, a symbol in Norse mythology of protecting humanity against the giants. Indra's weapon is the Vajra, said to be forged from a sage's bones, capable of splitting the clouds to unleash lightning, a symbol in Hindu mythology of sustaining cosmic order.

托尔更像一位守护人类的战士，性格直爽豪迈，总是冲在最前面对抗巨人族的威胁。因陀罗则是统领三十三天的众神之王，风格庄重威严，代表着宇宙运行的秩序与法则。两位雷神来自完全不同的文化脉络，各自承载着自己文明对"力量"与"守护"的理解。

Thor is more like a warrior protecting humanity — straightforward and bold, always at the front lines against the giants. Indra, by contrast, is the king of the thirty-three heavens, dignified and solemn, embodying the order and law that govern the cosmos. The two thunder gods come from entirely different cultural traditions, each carrying their own civilization's understanding of "power" and "protection."

小喜看着画里两位雷神各自持着武器，好奇地问，"阿鸦，他们两个都叫雷神，是同一个神话故事里的吗？"

Magpie looked at the painting of the two thunder gods, each holding their own weapon, and asked curiously, "A-Ya, they're both called thunder gods — are they from the same myth?"

阿鸦笑了笑，"不是哦。左边是北欧的托尔，右边是印度的因陀罗，来自两个完全不同的神话世界，风格也很不一样。"

A-Ya smiled. "Not quite. On the left is Thor from Norse mythology, on the right is Indra from Hindu mythology — they come from two completely different mythological worlds, and their styles are quite different too."

小喜眼睛发亮，"那我想听听他们各自的故事！"阿鸦点点头，"好，一个一个来。"

Magpie's eyes lit up. "Then I want to hear each of their stories!" A-Ya nodded. "Alright, one at a time."

阿鸦说，"先说托尔——他手里那把锤子，来历可不简单。"

A-Ya said, "Let's start with Thor — that hammer of his has quite a story behind it."

小喜立刻追问，"什么来历？快说快说！"

Magpie pressed immediately. "What's the story? Tell me, tell me!"

托尔的锤子叫妙尔尼尔，是矮人工匠打造的神器——抡起来能劈山碎石，扔出去必定命中目标，还会自动飞回手中。托尔就是靠着它，一次又一次守护阿斯加德和人类，对抗巨人族的威胁。

Thor's hammer is called Mjölnir, a sacred weapon forged by dwarven craftsmen — swung with enough force to split mountains, it never misses its target, and always flies back to his hand. Thor relies on it again and again to protect Asgard and humanity from the giants.

Who knows? They come from completely different mythological worlds and may never meet. But different peoples around the world, looking up at the same thundering, rainy sky, each imagined their own thunder god to watch over them — and that in itself is quite wonderful.

Magpie tilted her head, thinking it over. "Then from now on, whenever I see lightning, I'll think of both of them." A-Ya smiled. "That's what makes mythology so interesting — the same bolt of lightning falls into different stories in different places."

Interestingly, linguists have found that thunder god figures appear in nearly every ancient civilization — Thor in Norse mythology, Indra in Hinduism, Zeus in Greek mythology, and Leigong in Chinese folklore all independently shaped the fearsome force of thunder into a symbol of justice and power. Perhaps this reflects humanity's instinct to impose order and meaning onto the unknown forces of nature.
