很久以前，一支拥有神奇法术和高超技艺的族群——图哈德达南，乘着云雾降临到了爱尔兰岛。他们的首领努阿达是一位英勇的国王，带领族人在这片新的土地上安顿下来。

Long ago, a people gifted with magic and remarkable skills, the Tuatha Dé Danann, arrived in Ireland shrouded in mist. Their leader Nuada was a brave king who led his people to settle on this new land.

但这片土地上已经住着别的居民，双方为了争夺土地，爆发了一场大战。努阿达在战斗中失去了一只手臂，按照古老的规矩，国王必须身体完整，努阿达只好暂时让出了王位。

But other people already lived on this land, and a great battle broke out between the two sides over the territory. In the fighting, Nuada lost one of his arms. According to ancient custom, a king had to be whole in body, so Nuada had to temporarily give up his throne.

小喜看着画里一群人乘着云雾降临海岸，好奇地问："阿鸦，这些人从哪里来的呀？他们要去做什么？"

Magpie looked at the painting of a group of people arriving on the coast shrouded in mist, and asked curiously, "A-Ya, where do these people come from? What are they going to do?"

阿鸦说："他们是图哈德达南族，拥有神奇的法术和高超的技艺。首领努阿达带着大家，准备在爱尔兰这片土地上安顿下来。"

A-Ya said, "They are the Tuatha Dé Danann, gifted with magic and remarkable skills. Their leader Nuada is bringing everyone to settle on this land called Ireland."

小喜惊讶："这片土地上已经有人住了吗？"

Magpie was amazed, "Did other people already live on this land?"

阿鸦说："这正是这个故事最让人意外的地方。"

A-Ya said, "That's exactly the most surprising part of this story."

小喜追问："怎么意外？"

Magpie pressed on. "Surprising how?"

阿鸦说："是的，为了这片土地，双方之间发生了一件大事，努阿达也因此受了伤。"

A-Ya said, "Yes, and because of this land, something significant happened between the two sides, and Nuada was injured as a result."

小喜好奇："努阿达受伤了，那他还能继续当国王吗？"

Magpie was curious, "If Nuada was injured, can he still be king?"

阿鸦说："按照古老的规矩，国王必须身体完整，努阿达只好暂时让出了王位……具体发生了什么，还得从头讲起。"

A-Ya said, "According to ancient custom, a king had to be whole in body, so Nuada had to temporarily give up his throne... but to find out exactly what happened, we'll have to start from the beginning."

族里最厉害的医师和工匠聚在一起，日夜商量。最后，工匠们用纯银打造出了一只可以活动的手臂，医师再小心翼翼地把它接到了努阿达身上。

The tribe's finest healers and craftsmen gathered together, working day and night. In the end, the craftsmen forged a movable arm out of pure silver, and the healers carefully attached it to Nuada.

Once Nuada had his silver arm, could he become king again?

装上银臂后，努阿达重新变得身体完整，族人们一致欢迎他回到王位上。这只银臂不仅能像真正的手臂一样活动自如，也成了族人们智慧和团结的象征。

With his silver arm attached, Nuada became whole again, and the people welcomed him back to the throne without hesitation. This silver arm could move just like a real arm, and it also became a symbol of the tribe's wisdom and unity.

有一位年轻人名叫卢格，来到王宫的议事厅前，说自己样样精通——木匠、铁匠、战士、诗人、魔法样样都会。守卫起初不肯让他进去，直到卢格问："那你们有没有一个人，样样都会？"守卫们哑口无言，只好让他进去，从此卢格也加入了议事厅，成为族人们敬重的一员。

There was a young man named Lugh who came to the doors of the royal council hall, claiming to be skilled in everything — carpentry, smithing, warfare, poetry, and magic, all at once. The guards refused to let him in at first, until Lugh asked, "But do you have even one person among you who is skilled in everything?" The guards had nothing to say, and had no choice but to let him in. From then on, Lugh joined the council and became a respected member of the tribe.

小喜感叹地说："努阿达失去手臂后没有放弃，族人们也一起帮他重新站起来！"阿鸦点点头："是呀，还有卢格的故事也一样——真正的本事，往往比表面的身份更重要。这两个故事讲的都是同一件事：一个族群能够团结、包容和珍惜每个人的才能，才能真正强大起来。"
Magpie sighed, "Nuada didn't give up after losing his arm, and the people all helped him stand tall again!" A-Ya nodded. "That's right, and Lugh's story is much the same — true ability often matters more than one's title. Both stories tell us the same thing: a people can only become truly strong when they stay united, stay open-minded, and value everyone's talents."

莫伊图拉之战的故事记载在中世纪手抄本《入侵之书》里，是爱尔兰最重要的神话历史文献之一。故事里提到的塔拉山，如今仍是爱尔兰真实存在的考古遗址，传说是古代爱尔兰历代国王加冕的地方，至今仍矗立着一块相传能辨认真王的"命运之石"。🛡️📜

The story of the Battle of Moytura is recorded in the medieval manuscript known as the Book of Invasions, one of Ireland's most important mythological and historical texts. The Hill of Tara mentioned in the story is a real archaeological site in Ireland today, said to be where ancient Irish kings were once crowned, and it still holds the Lia Fáil, the legendary Stone of Destiny said to identify the true king.
