在《哪吒闹海》的故事之后，哪吒因为大闹龙宫、得罪了东海龙王，闯下了滔天大祸。龙王扬言要水淹哪吒所在的整个陈塘关，殃及无辜百姓。年少的哪吒深知这场灾祸因自己而起，做出了一个令所有人心痛的决定——他愿意用自己的生命，换取全城百姓和父母的平安。

After the events of "Nezha Conquers the Sea," Nezha's clash with the Dragon King of the East Sea had brought about a catastrophic crisis. The Dragon King threatened to flood the entire town of Chentangguan, where Nezha lived, endangering countless innocent people. The young Nezha, knowing full well that this disaster had been caused by his own actions, made a heartbreaking decision, he was willing to give his own life to spare the townspeople and his parents.

哪吒割肉还母、剔骨还父，将父母给予自己的血肉之躯彻底归还，以此平息了龙王的怒火，保住了全城百姓的性命。可是没有了身体，哪吒的灵魂便无处安放，只能孤零零地飘荡在人间。他的师父太乙真人心疼这个勇敢的徒弟，决定用莲花和莲藕，重新为他塑造一个全新的身体。

Nezha returned the flesh and bones his parents had given him, completely giving back the body they had bestowed upon him, and in doing so calmed the Dragon King's fury and saved the entire town. But without a body, Nezha's spirit had nowhere to rest, drifting alone and homeless through the mortal world. His master, Taiyi Zhenren, grieved for his brave disciple and decided to shape him an entirely new body out of lotus flowers and lotus roots.

阿鸦叹了口气，说："这可不是普通的魔法——这是哪吒的第二次生命。你还记得他大闹龙宫的故事吗？后来他为了保护父母和全城百姓，做出了一个巨大的牺牲，把父母给的身体彻底归还了。"

Aya sighed and said, "This is no ordinary magic, this is Nezha's second life. Do you remember the story of him conquering the sea? Afterward, to protect his parents and the entire town, he made an enormous sacrifice, returning the body his parents had given him completely."

小喜追问："那哪吒真的心甘情愿这么做吗？"

Xiaoxi pressed, "So was Nezha really willing to do this?"

阿鸦说："他做出这个决定的时候，心里当然充满了不舍，可他更清楚，如果自己不这样做，全城百姓都会因为自己的过错而遭殃。"

Aya said, "When he made that decision, his heart was of course full of reluctance, but he understood clearly that if he didn't do this, the entire town would suffer because of his own mistake."

小喜好奇地问："那哪吒后来怎么样了呀？"

Xiaoxi asked curiously, "So what happened to Nezha afterward?"

阿鸦说："他的身体没有了，可灵魂还在，只能孤零零地飘荡在人间，找不到栖身之处。"

Aya said, "His body was gone, but his spirit remained, drifting alone through the mortal world with nowhere to rest."

小喜追问："那有没有人来帮帮他呀？"

Xiaoxi pressed, "Was there anyone who came to help him?"

阿鸦故意卖了个关子："有，他的师父想出了一个谁都没想到的办法。用什么办法？那就得往下听了。"

Aya deliberately teased, "Yes, his master came up with a solution no one would have expected. What solution? You'll have to keep listening."

His body was gone, but his spirit remained, it simply had no place to rest, and drifted alone in great suffering. His master, Taiyi Zhenren, grieved deeply for him and decided to find a way to give him a body once more.

太乙真人来到一处莲花池，采来了两片莲叶、三朵莲花，摆成了人形，再运用法力，将哪吒的灵魂引入其中。随着一声令下，莲花与莲藕竟渐渐化作了血肉与筋骨，哪吒就这样获得了一具全新的身体，重新在人间站了起来。

Taiyi Zhenren came to a lotus pond, gathered two lotus leaves and three lotus flowers, arranged them into the shape of a human body, and then used his powers to guide Nezha's spirit into it. With a single command, the lotus flowers and roots gradually transformed into flesh and bone, and Nezha was given an entirely new body, standing once more in the mortal world.

His appearance was almost identical, but inwardly he underwent a complete transformation, he was no longer the impulsive youth who acted purely on emotion, but someone who now understood the weight of responsibility. This new body shaped from lotus flowers also granted him even greater powers afterward, making him one of the most widely known heroes in the Investiture of the Gods.
