在斯拉夫民间故事里，有一种传说中的鸟儿被称为"火鸟"——它周身羽毛如烈焰般绚烂发光，飞过夜空时会留下一道橙红色的光轨，只要拔下它的一根羽毛，就能照亮整间屋子。这个充满魔力的形象，后来还启发了作曲家斯特拉文斯基创作了著名的芭蕾舞剧《火鸟》。

In Slavic folklore, there is a legendary bird known as the Firebird, its feathers glow as brilliantly as flames, and when it flies across the night sky, it leaves behind a trail of glowing orange light. Just a single one of its feathers is said to be bright enough to light an entire room. This magical image later inspired the composer Igor Stravinsky to create his famous ballet, The Firebird.

故事的主人公是一位名叫伊凡的年轻王子。皇宫花园里种着一棵结满金苹果的神树，可每天夜里，总有金苹果被悄悄偷走。国王派三个儿子轮流守夜捉拿偷苹果的贼，前两位王子都因贪睡而一无所获，只有伊凡凭着耐心和勇气，终于在深夜里揭开了这个谜团。

The hero of the story is a young prince named Ivan. In the royal garden grew a magical tree bearing golden apples, but every night, some of the apples would mysteriously vanish. The king sent his three sons to take turns guarding the tree, but the first two princes fell asleep and caught nothing. Only Ivan, with patience and courage, finally uncovered the mystery late one night.

Xiaoxi looked at a painting showing a young boy crouched beside a tree full of golden apples, with a huge bird glowing in fiery orange light spreading its wings. She asked curiously, "Aya, why is this bird glowing all over?"

阿鸦说："这是斯拉夫传说里的火鸟，它的每一片羽毛都像燃烧的火焰一样发光。这幅画里的少年叫伊凡，他为了揭开一个偷苹果的谜团，在花园里守了整整一夜。"

Aya said, "This is the Firebird from Slavic legend, every one of its feathers glows like a flame. The boy in this painting is named Ivan, and he kept watch in the garden all night to solve the mystery of who had been stealing the apples."

小喜追问："他最后发现是谁偷的呀？"

Xiaoxi pressed, "So who did he find out was stealing them?"

阿鸦说："这背后可不只是抓到一只鸟这么简单，伊凡因此还踏上了一段更大的冒险旅程。"

Aya said, "This turned out to be about much more than just catching a bird, Ivan ended up setting off on a much bigger adventure because of it."

小喜好奇地问："什么样的冒险呀？"

Xiaoxi asked curiously, "What kind of adventure?"

阿鸦说："他要找到的，不只是一根羽毛，而是火鸟本尊。这一路上，他遇到了一位意想不到的伙伴。"

Aya said, "What he needed to find wasn't just a feather, but the Firebird itself. Along the way, he met an unexpected companion."

小喜追问："是谁呀？"

Xiaoxi pressed, "Who was it?"

阿鸦故意卖了个关子："这位伙伴一开始差点让伊凡陷入大麻烦——想知道后来发生了什么吗？那就得往下听了。"

伊凡守夜时，终于看清了偷苹果的正是那只浑身发光的火鸟。他伸手想要抓住它，火鸟受惊飞走，只留下了一片发光的羽毛。国王见到这片羽毛十分惊叹，命三个儿子出发去寻找火鸟本尊。伊凡骑马赶路时，遇上了一匹会说话的灰狼。

While keeping watch, Ivan finally saw clearly that it was the glowing Firebird that had been stealing the apples. He reached out to catch it, but the startled bird flew off, leaving behind only a single glowing feather. The king was amazed by the feather and ordered his three sons to set out and find the Firebird itself. As Ivan rode along on his journey, he encountered a talking grey wolf.

At first, Ivan was wary of this strange wolf, but the wolf offered to help him complete this difficult journey. As it turned out, the wolf kept its word, carrying Ivan over mountains and valleys, and using its own cleverness to help him overcome challenges that seemed impossible again and again. The two gradually went from strangers to companions fighting side by side.

With the wolf's help, Ivan overcame trial after trial and finally found the Firebird, bringing it safely back to the palace. The king was overjoyed to see the golden apple tree bearing fruit once more. Through this journey, Ivan also came to understand something important: true courage isn't just about struggling alone, it's also about knowing how to accept the kindness and help of others.
