在北欧神话里，宇宙最初只是一片虚无的深渊，一侧是终年冰封的极寒之地，另一侧是烈焰翻涌的炽热之地。当冰霜与烈焰在深渊中相遇，冰川开始消融，水滴聚集，从中诞生了第一位生命——巨人尤弥尔。他是世间万物的起点，一切生灵都从他而来。

In Norse mythology, the universe began as a vast, empty abyss. On one side lay a realm of eternal ice, and on the other, a realm of blazing fire. When frost and flame met within the abyss, the ice began to melt, and from the gathering droplets, the very first being was born, the giant Ymir. He was the origin of all things in the world, and every living being was said to descend from him.

尤弥尔沉睡时，从他的身体里诞生了更多的生灵，其中就包括奥丁和他的两位兄弟。这三兄弟后来共同完成了创造世界的伟大工程——他们用尤弥尔的身体塑造出了大地、山川、海洋与天空，让一片虚无的深渊，变成了一个真正意义上完整而丰饶的世界。

While Ymir slept, more beings were born from his body, among them Odin and his two brothers. These three brothers later carried out the great work of creating the world, they shaped the earth, mountains, seas, and sky from Ymir's body, transforming the empty abyss into a truly complete and abundant world.

Xiaoxi looked at a painting showing ice and fire meeting in the void, with a huge silhouette faintly emerging from the mist. She asked curiously, "Aya, how did this empty place eventually become an entire world?"

阿鸦说："这背后是北欧神话里最古老的一个传说，关于第一位生命——巨人尤弥尔。整个世界的诞生，都跟他有着密不可分的关系。"

Aya said, "This comes from one of the oldest legends in Norse mythology, about the very first being, the giant Ymir. The birth of the entire world is deeply connected to him."

小喜追问："尤弥尔是怎么诞生的呀？"

Xiaoxi pressed, "How was Ymir born?"

阿鸦说："他的诞生，源自两种完全相反的力量相遇。这个开端本身，就充满了戏剧性。"

Aya said, "His birth came from the meeting of two completely opposite forces. This beginning itself was already full of drama."

Xiaoxi asked curiously, "What kind of forces?"

阿鸦说："冰与火，在同一片虚无中相遇了。不过尤弥尔诞生之后，还有更神奇的事情发生。"

Aya said, "Ice and fire met within the same emptiness. But after Ymir was born, something even more wondrous happened."

Xiaoxi pressed, "What happened?"

At the very beginning of creation, the universe was nothing but an empty abyss, with a realm of eternal ice on one side and a realm of blazing fire on the other. When frost and flame met within the abyss, the ice began to melt, and droplets gradually gathered, giving birth to the first being, the giant Ymir. In this way, he emerged from the meeting of ice and fire, becoming the very first presence in this world.

So how did they finally make the world complete?

奥丁三兄弟用尤弥尔的身体，塑造出了整个世界——他的血液化作了奔流不息的江河湖海，骨骼化作了巍峨的山脉，头骨高高举起，化作了广袤的天空，睫毛围出了人类居住的家园。就这样，一片虚无的深渊，因为尤弥尔的存在，变成了一个山河壮丽、天地分明的完整世界。

Odin and his two brothers shaped the entire world from Ymir's body, his blood became the flowing rivers, lakes, and seas, his bones became towering mountain ranges, his skull was lifted high to form the vast sky, and his eyelashes encircled the land where humans would come to live. And so, because of Ymir, the once-empty abyss became a complete world of magnificent mountains and rivers, with earth and sky clearly divided.
