In Europe, there is an old folk tale about a tired and hungry traveler who arrived in a village. The villagers each guarded their own food, unwilling to share with one another, and the whole village felt cold and distant. The traveler didn't complain or beg, instead, he came up with a wonderful idea.

他在村子中央支起一口大锅，往里面倒满清水，又郑重其事地放进了一块普通的石头，说要煮一锅"石头汤"。村民们好奇地围过来看，旅人一边搅动着锅里的水，一边感叹道："这汤味道已经不错了，不过要是再加点别的，一定会更加鲜美。"就这样，一段关于分享的奇妙故事，悄悄拉开了序幕。

He set up a large pot in the middle of the village, filled it with clear water, and solemnly placed an ordinary stone inside, announcing that he was going to cook a pot of "stone soup." The villagers gathered around curiously to watch, and as the traveler stirred the water in the pot, he sighed, "This soup already tastes quite good, but it would be even more delicious with just a little something added." And so, a wonderful story about sharing quietly began.

Xiaoxi looked at a painting showing a traveler standing before a large pot in the middle of a village, the water inside bubbling away, with curious villagers gathered around. She asked curiously, "Aya, what is this person cooking? The pot looks like it only has water and a stone in it."

Aya said, "The stone itself obviously can't produce any flavor, but the method this traveler came up with was far cleverer than the stone itself."

Xiaoxi asked curiously, "What did he do?"

阿鸦说："一开始，村民们各自守着自己的粮食，谁也不愿意主动拿出来。可这锅'石头汤'，却慢慢让大家的态度发生了变化。"

Aya said, "At first, the villagers each guarded their own food, unwilling to bring any of it out. But this pot of 'stone soup' slowly began to change everyone's attitude."

小喜追问："村民们后来做了什么呀？"

Xiaoxi pressed, "What did the villagers do next?"

So how exactly did this traveler make soup out of a stone?

旅人把石头放进锅里煮着，一边搅动一边自言自语："这汤已经很不错了，不过要是能加点胡萝卜，味道会更好。"正好有位村民听到了，心想加根胡萝卜也没什么大不了，就回家拿了几根胡萝卜扔进锅里。旅人尝了一口，又说："要是再有点土豆就更完美了。"又有一位村民动了心，回家拿来了土豆。

The traveler put the stone in the pot to boil, and as he stirred, he muttered to himself, "This soup is already quite good, but it would taste even better with a bit of carrot." A villager happened to overhear this, and thought that adding a carrot or two wouldn't hurt, so they went home and brought back a few carrots to toss into the pot. The traveler tasted it and said, "It would be even more perfect with some potatoes." Another villager was tempted, and went home to fetch some potatoes.

And so, one villager brought onions, another brought fresh cuts of meat, and others contributed herbs and seasonings. Each person's contribution seemed small on its own, but when all these ingredients came together in one pot, a soup that had started with nothing but clear water and a stone gradually turned into a fragrant, hearty, and delicious stew. The villagers looked at the pot with expressions of surprise and joy.

The stone itself had no flavor at all, what truly made the soup delicious was that every villager was willing to contribute a little something of their own. With a single stone, the traveler quietly awakened the spirit of sharing and trust that the village had long forgotten.
